Ottometric is a software company focused on automating verification and validation processes for advanced driver assistance systems (ADAS) and autonomous vehicles (AVs). Its solution can automate various use cases in ADAS and AV system validation and training, including optimizing data collection and data selection, automate the sensor KPI calculation by fusing LiDAR, camera, and other sensor data, automate the system ADAS system KPI calculation, and trouble ticket investigation. Its platform utilizes proprietary AI/ML and mathematical models to automatically review and distill raw endurance test and training data. By analyzing sensor and system data, Ottometric's technology validates the correct operation of ADAS and AV systems, and generates scenarios that require manual review, enabling engineers to focus on critical issues.

The company offers its product on a B2B SaaS basis and pitches its product toward OEMs, Tier-1 and Tier-2 suppliers, and autonomous vehicle tech developers.

Key customers and partnerships

As of February 2023, the Ottometric customer base reportedly included ADAS industry leaders and two of the top ten largest Tier-1 automotive suppliers.

The company has strategic partnerships with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to leverage the latter’s cloud services to securely process data collected from test vehicles and with the BlackBerry IVY Connected Vehicle Data Platform to collect automotive Tier-1s and OEM production data using an ottometric platform. It also works with the IBM Partner Plus program.

Funding and financials

In February 2023, Ottometric raised USD 4.9 million in seed funding led by Rally Ventures to fast-track growth and enhance its customer base.
