Proprio is a surgical technology company based in Seattle that has developed an innovative system called Paradigm to revolutionize the way surgeons perform complex procedures. Paradigm utilizes cutting-edge technologies such as light field imaging, computer vision, machine learning, robotics, and augmented reality to provide surgeons with real-time, three-dimensional visualizations of the surgical field.

The system captures high-definition images of the operating area and fuses them with preoperative 3D scans of the patient's anatomy. This allows surgeons to visualize key structures, including those that are difficult or impossible to see with the naked eye, in an immersive 3D environment. In April 2023, Proprio received 510(k) clearance from the US Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for Paradigm, paving the way for its commercial launch.
