Ryff provides a virtual product placement (VPP) solution that allows seamless integration of products into existing video content, including TV shows, movies, sports broadcasts, and social media, without the need for physical logistics or post-production. The company's platform, Spheera, ingests various visual media formats and enables brands to search through a growing library of 2,000+ TV shows with 10,000 hours of content across films, and sports events to find suitable virtual product placement opportunities (VPOs). The platform includes Ryff's proprietary AI which analyzes speech, context, and emotional triggers within video content including for moving content to identify "shoppable moments" where products can be naturally integrated. Brands can then purchase these placements individually or in bulk to execute targeted marketing campaigns.

In February 2023, Ryff secured a pilot program with Comcast Technology Solutions (CTS) after winning the Comcast NBCUniversal LIFT Labs' LIFToff VideoAI Challenge. Ryff will collaborate with CTS to develop next-gen video advertising solutions.

The firm claims its approach provides content producers with new revenue streams and advertisers with the ability to reach wider audiences at a lower cost.

As of May 2023, Ryff has successfully integrated its virtual product placements for 50+ leading brands including Coca-Cola, Intel, General Mills (Cinnamon Toast Crunch), Diageo (Baileys), Mars (Orbit).

The firm has partnered with leading streaming platforms and media publishers including with Sky TV, ITV, A&E, Hallmark, Viacom, Channel 4, CBS, Viu TV, ESPN, Hulu, Apple TV, Paramount+, and NBC to ingest and integrate its content.

Funding and Financials

In August 2021, the firm raised USD 11.7 million in a venture funding round led by Audent Global Asset Management. The firm planned to use the funding to make significant investments in Nvidia AI hardware.
