Duality

Duality is a digital twin modeling company that provides a solution for the integration and management of digital twins through a central platform called Falcon. Customers can use Falcon to run simulations of acquired digital twins across various industries, including manufacturing, retail, defense, and logistics.

The Falcon platform uses AI technology and simulations to cater to a range of use cases–from product-specific scenarios to large-scale environmental modeling. It is an end-to-end platform, supporting users from the data acquisition stage through the collaborative stage and simulations and to the generation of synthetic data. Clients are also able to visualize the results of simulations through the Unreal 5 graphics engine.

As of June 2024, the company had over 70 patents across robotics, simulation, and visualization.

Duality’s notable customers include DARPA, Honeywell, KEF Robotics, and P&G.

In November 2022, the company partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to showcase a high-fidelity, city-scale simulation called Rush Hour Emergency and Response Simulation in Smart Cities. The simulation demonstrated how an Emergency Medical Services unit could navigate through a metropolis with more than one million simulated vehicles and pedestrians. The company’s partners also include Autodesk, Epic Games and Google Cloud.
