Telexistence is a Japan-based company that develops AI-based remote-controlled robots for the retail and logistics industries. Its models include Model-T (launched in July 2020) and TX SCARA (launched in November 2021). These robots are used to monitor and replenish inventory in retail environments.. Telexistence uses its proprietary AI system, “Gordon,” which employs a self-scanning module to identify product availability on store shelves. The system calculates the optimal gripping point for beverages and generates a path plan for the end-effector, enabling the efficient transfer from gripping to placing. If this automatic method fails, the robots switch to Telexistence mode, allowing employees to control the robots online and complete the required tasks.
