The company ships worldwide with representatives in Scandinavia, the Baltics region, the UK, Germany, Iceland, and Korea and distributors in France and Switzerland. According to the company, it is the only foldable prefabricated structure provider in the market.

The company uses a patented “100-cycle hinge system” that allows an unlimited number of foldings, enabling a 1,000 square feet (sq ft) house to be folded and transported by a regular 40 sq ft truck. Several units can also be combined to create large structures. These structures can be relocated or compactly stored when not needed. Two categories of Brette Haus structures named rustic and compact are available and come in two sizes. Rustic structures which are sized at 227 sq ft and 340 sq ft cost around USD 69,000 and USD 88,300, respectively, and compact structures (size not given) cost around USD 61,000–78,400. Other features such as electric appliances, solar energy kits, heating, smart home systems, and wood stoves can be added at an additional cost.

The company uses Austrian cross-laminated timber technology, which manufactures panels by gluing several layers of wood together to reduce wastage. The company reports that its structures generate around 80% less waste and use 99% less water compared to stick-built houses.
