FYX operates a decentralized esports platform powered by blockchain. The company’s gaming platform uses blockchain to store game data which increases transparency of tournament results. The platform offers skill based tournaments and live broadcasting. In addition, the company owns ‘CryptoFights’, a 3D game on blockchain.
The company rebranded (February 2021) and developed a competitive eSports platform, FYX. The platform uses Bitcoin SV (BSV) blockchain technology for game records and cash prizes. It will initially launch in 41 states across the US in 2021.
FYX Gaming announced a follow-on seed funding round, with commitments from Ventek Ventures and Ayre Ventures, in October 2021. The company is also open to new investors joining the ongoing funding round. The fresh funds are expected to be funneled into product development and platform infrastructure to handle additional user traffic. The company also plans to close its Series A funding next year. The planned fundraise follows a similar round in September 2021 where FYX Gaming raised USD 1.35 million in debt funding.
