Beagle Systems

Beagle Systems is a Hamburg-based drone-as-a-service provider specializing in long-range flights using unmanned aerial systems (UAS). The company has developed its own drone, the Beagle M, which has a wingspan of 2.50 meters and can transport a load of up to three kilograms. Beagle Systems operates a network of landing and charging stations for drones, allowing them to conduct flights beyond visual line of sight (BVLOS).

In February 2022, Beagle Systems launched its first station in Hanstedt, Lower Saxony, Germany, enabling the company to cover an area of 780,000 hectares in the region. The drone flights can be controlled entirely from the company's headquarters in Hamburg, eliminating the need for on-site personnel and reducing operational costs significantly.

Beagle Systems' drones are currently being utilized for the inspection and monitoring of large infrastructure facilities, such as power grids. The company aims to expand its nationwide network of charging stations in the coming years, with plans to further extend its reach across the European Union. This network would allow drone specialists to access a ready-to-go drone from Hamburg for customers at any location within the EU.

Beagle Systems' technology offers a resolution 75 times higher than commercially available satellite data, with the ability to provide data or deliver goods within 24 hours. The company's approach is designed to keep risks and operational expenses low for its customers while delivering rapid data or transportation services.
