Young Platform

Young Platform is an Italian cryptocurrency exchange based in Turin, Italy. Launched in 2018, it offers a user-friendly platform for buying, selling, and trading cryptocurrencies. Young Platform aims to simplify access to the crypto world, catering especially to beginners through educational resources and intuitive interfaces.

The exchange supports over 30 cryptocurrencies, including major ones like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana, across various blockchain networks like Ethereum, Bitcoin, Polygon, and Algorand. Users can deposit and withdraw funds using euros through bank transfers, credit/debit cards, Google Pay, Apple Pay, and more.

Young Platform operates under a Virtual Asset Service Providers (VASP) license from Italy's Organismo Agenti e Mediatori (OAM), adhering to regulatory standards. It provides custodial wallets for users to store their crypto assets securely.

In addition to its basic platform, Young Platform offers a Pro version with advanced trading tools like charting, order types, and API access for experienced traders and investors. The exchange employs a variable spread fee model, with fees ranging from around 1% to 4% depending on the transaction type.

In May 2024, Young Platform collaborated with the Carabinieri to convert confiscated cryptocurrencies from a criminal organization into fiat currency, demonstrating its commitment to combating financial crime through public-private partnerships.

Key customers and partnerships

In January 2023, Young Platform secured a license to operate as a digital asset service provider in France from the Autorité des Marchés Financiers (AMF).

The exchange partnered with the Milan-based scale-up Okipo in May 2024 to introduce the "Taxes and Reports" service, simplifying tax reporting and payments for crypto activities in Italy.
