Kairos offers facial recognition solutions for access control and live customer analytics. The product is offered through an API and can be used via the cloud as well as on-premises, integrating into applications for facial recognition and also to identify sex, age, emotions, etc. In September 2019, Kairos introduced a camera (hardware plus software) and a dashboard for customer analytics making it one of the few companies to offer hardware along with software. It tracks foot traffic in real-time and is designed to suit the needs of restaurants, hotels, retail merchants and casinos. The camera can also be integrated with existing inventory management systems and surveillance systems.
Key customers and partnerships
In June 2019, Nuvola (provider of a guest engagement software) partnered with Kairos to include facial recognition in their software for Nuvola’s customers to be able to improve the overall guest experience. As the company claims this partnership makes Nuvola the first hospitality software provider to introduce facial recognition technology. As of November 2024, the solution was used by over 1,000 companies, including ubanx, IPG, Veritone, Legendary, vidigami, and SONAR.
