MCES

MCES is a French esports organization which raised its seed round funding in June 2019 to set up its operations. The organization competes in esports such as League of Legends, Fortnite, FIFA, and Clash of Clans with total prize winnings of USD 120,000 as of February 2021. The team has gaming centres in Marseilles and Aix-en-Provence.

The team raised USD 2.8 million in Series A funding in July 2020 to invest in its international expansion and to improve its scouting and training. Furthermore, the company hired Anthony Gay as its Chief Financial Officer (CFO)  and as its Chief Revenue Officer (CRO).

In November 2020, the company partnered with audio equipment manufacturer JBL to promote gaming headphones and speaker brand “JBL Quantum”. The company has partnered with the North America Scholastic Esports Federation (NASF) to build a scholastic esports program for youth across France while it launched an esports academy in Los Angeles through its partnership with Lab Five.

MCES announced a two-year partnership with gaming apparel brand Fulllife in February 2021. The deal is expected to take effect in March 2021. As a result of the partnership, Fulllife will provide gear for the company’s gamers and staff and the organizations will collaborate on a lifestyle apparel collection.
