FlexiDAO

FlexiDAO is a Spanish carbon tracking software that uses blockchain technology to provide carbon footprint transparency across the entire supply chain 24/7. The company has extended its service offering across 13 countries. It also expects to add public traded companies to its portfolio to provide carbon emission disclosures and remedies to neutralize the negative environmental impact in accordance with the recently proposed SEC rules. 

Key customers and partnerships

In August 2022, FlexiDAO partnered with Altenex Energy, an energy advisory firm, to provide corporate purchasers with carbon-free energy 24/7. The collaboration allows users of Altenex’s Insights to access FlexiDAO’s hourly data platform. The company’s notable customers include Microsoft, Google, Iron Mountain, Vodafone ES, Iberdrola, Acconia, and Red Eléctrica de España, among others.  

Funding and financials

In July 2022, the company raised EUR 6.1 million (USD 6.5 million) in a Series A funding round led by Google, Microsoft Climate Innovation Fund, and SET Ventures. The funds were utilized to scale up FlexiDAO’s platform across the US and Europe.
