Heirloom offers luxury short-term rentals across the US with a heavy focus on group travel. The company specifically operates in Boston, Savannah, Austin, Nashville, and Scottsdale with over 300 listings (as of August 2024). The company allows group travelers to book a single accommodation, rather than needing to book a block of hotel rooms. Types of homes offered include designer homes, historically renovated homes, luxury retreats, and apartments, with each of the company’s homes being custom designed by its team of interior decorators, local artists, and architects. General amenities offered with the houses include a fully-stocked chef’s kitchen, free parking, outdoor dining areas, a pool and a hot tub, with some rentals providing keyless entry access.

After booking, all guests receive a personalized list of recommendations including locals favorite spots, restaurants, and activities.

Per night rental rates ranging from ~USD 1,000–2,000, with the largest properties housing up to 50 people. In addition to offering a platform for direct booking, the company also lists its accommodations on Airbnb. In February 2022, the company moved its headquarters to New Orleans from Boston. Previously, Heirloom faced issues with New Orleans’ city regulations with expired short-term rental (STR) permits for some of its listings in New Orleans; however, it has since reached an agreement to resolve licensing and tax matters.
