AM-Flow is a Netherlands-based startup that specializes in 3D printing automation technology. The company’s line of products includes AM-VISION, quality control software for 3D printed parts; AM-SORT for automated part sorting; AM-PICK, which uses gripper technology for part handling; AM-ROUTE for autonomous part transportation; and AM-BAGGING for automated bagging and labeling. Users can identify printed parts based on their geometry and automate the classification of 3D-printed items, sorting them either for the next post-processing step or for order fulfillment.
In October 2024, AM-Flow unveiled the next generation of its AM-QUALITY system, which can identify issues such as breakages, warping, and surface defects and feed data back to the client’s manufacturing execution system (MES). This enables users to immediately reprint when necessary and optimize the setting of parameters of the 3D printers and post-production equipment. The company claims this system can conduct scans with a 50 μm accuracy.
