Cufflink offers a platform that allows consumers to store personal data and control how it is shared. The company’s mobile app also allows users to share personal information with other individuals and companies while controlling how much and what gets shared. All personal data is stored within the customers’ devices, with encrypted cloud storage available as an option for users. Cufflink also offers a Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) solution enabling organizations to use consumers’ personal data without storing any of it themselves, effectively outsourcing the storage of personal data and reducing the risk of data breaches. This also results in compliance with privacy regulations such as GDPR and CCPA. As of February 2021, the mobile app was in the beta testing phase, and the SaaS offering was still under development. Cufflink’s mobile app is offered free of charge, while its SaaS offering is subject to a cost.
