Trox + Tierney was formed by the merger of educational technology (EdTech) solutions providers Trox and Tierney in 2021. Trox (formerly Troxell-CDI) was founded in 1946 through the combination of CDI Technologies and Troxell Solutions. The company helps customers simplify purchasing, deployment, and lifecycle management of complex solutions while offering warranties and customer support. Established as Tierney Brothers in 1977, Tierney provides audiovisual solutions for K-12 schools, higher education institutions, government organizations, and corporations. The company provides audiovisual systems integration, video conferencing, interactive whiteboards, digital projectors and flat panel displays, and audio and visual communication solutions. Solutions for K-12 schools include the Ed Tech Buyer's Guide and Return to School Technology Guide, STEM and STEAM tools, interactive flat panels, and virtual and augmented reality products.
