Alpha Medical is a digital healthcare company that focuses on women's care, dermatology, hair, and mental health, as well as primary and urgent care. An annual membership costs USD 99 (or USD 35 per quarter); patients can also pay on a per visit basis (USD 30 per visit) without a membership.

Alpha allows patients to fill out a questionnaire describing their symptoms and upload photos of affected areas. The uploads are reviewed by a practitioner within 24 hours (within 8 hours for urgent care) and patients are sent a treatment plan. It also serves as a coordinator for lab test centres and physical doctor appointments depending on the needs and affordability of patients. Prescriptions directed by physicians will either be delivered to the patient’s home or sent to the pharmacy for pick up. As of September 2021, the company covered 60 health conditions across 46 US states.

During the same month, Alpha raised USD 24 million in Series B funding that brought total funding to USD 35 million. The funds will be used to scale up its team, expand its disease coverage, and expand its business model from D2C to B2B services.
