UK-based YAYZY offers a mobile app that leverages open banking data to calculate and offset the carbon footprint of individuals. Users are required to connect their bank accounts to the app for YAZY to calculate the carbon footprint of the user based on their banking transactions. YAYZY also allows users to offset their carbon footprint by investing in carbon offsetting projects.
As of March 2024, YAYZY generated revenue by charging a service fee of GBP 0.0015 (USD 0.002) per kilogram of carbon offset using the app.

In December 2022, the company partnered with IBM Cloud, to integrate carbon tracking and reduction solutions for banks and FinTech customers. As of March 2024, more than 50 banks had connected with YAYZY’s users via its B2C app. The company’s technology partners include Plaid, Truelayer, Saltedge, Stripe and AWS.
