Haut.AI provides an AI-powered, no-code software solution for skin analytics. The solution enables businesses to build skin analysis apps and is provided as either an application programming interface (API) or a software development kit (SDK).
Haut.AI’s advanced AI engine is trained on over three million face and skin images and over a billion data points and reportedly can identify more than 15 skin health and beauty metrics. The technology is developed to use a combination of image analysis and data related to customer lifestyles to suggest customized skincare product recommendations. The company also offers a skin diary feature, which enables companies to provide continuous feedback to their customers over a period of time. Haut.AI also provides dashboards with aggregated, anonymized analytics. The technology can be implemented as a 1) Skin Care app that can be integrated into the client apps of companies; 2) Retail Kiosk, for retail points of sale and online marketplaces; 3) an R&D solution that enables testing the effectiveness of a product using machine learning; and 4) a web-based interface at skin clinics to perform skin diagnostics, track changes in skin conditions, and generate skin reports for clients.
Haut.AI uses multiple forms of generative AI. In May 2023, the company launched SkinGPT, a virtual skincare try-on tool that includes image-to-image simulation of skin conditions. The tool enables users to upload their photos and use AI to simulate the changes to the skin over a period of time when using certain skincare products.
In October 2024, Haut.AI received a US patent for its facial image anonymization technology, "Skin Atlas." The Skin Atlas system uses artificial intelligence to deliver detailed skin analysis and personalized skincare recommendations. It identifies facial keypoints, separates skin pixels from non-skin elements, and generates photo-realistic skin patterns to fill in gaps, creating a fully anonymized image.
