EchoNous is a MedTech company specializing in developing point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) solutions. Its flagship product, Kosmos, is an AI-powered portable ultrasound device designed to foster patient care. Kosmos leverages deep learning algorithms to transform how clinicians assess the heart, lungs, and abdomen, enhancing capabilities for POCUS ultrasound. A key feature of the device includes Auto Preset, which seamlessly adjusts the exam preset in real time as the user scans different anatomies, ensuring optimal imaging without manual intervention. Additionally, Auto Doppler, a first-of-its-kind feature, utilizes AI technology to automatically position the Doppler sample gate at the optimal location based on the valve the user wants to interrogate, making valve interrogation more efficient. As of July 2024, these features were yet to be launched.
The Kosmos product line includes
1) Kosmos Plus, a fully-featured POCUS configuration that includes a medical-grade stand, transducers, AI, advanced Doppler features, and an iPad Pro priced at less than USD 21,000
2) Kosmos Mobile, tailored for on-the-go clinicians, starts at USD 7,500 and includes an iPad Air or Pro, advanced Doppler capabilities, a choice of probes, and the Kosmos Essential Carrying Case.
EchoNous also offers specialized probes, such as the Torso-One probe for cardiac and abdominal imaging, and the Lexsa probe for MSK, vascular, nerve, guidance, and lung imaging.
