Treeline Cheese is a plant-based artisan cheese producer based in New York, who produces several French-style plant-based cheeses in creamy scallion, herb garlic, sea salt and pepper, and chipotle serrano pepper flavors. In October 2021, Treeline Cheese debuted its plant-based goat cheese and cashew-based shredded and sliced cheeses. The new goat cheese alternative is developed by culturing cashew milk, which allows the company to replicate the complicated flavors of goat cheese. The company claims its plant-based cheese replicates the creamy, rich consistency of traditional goat cheese; the product will be available in Original, Garlic Basil, and Blueberry, among the flavors.

According to Treeline Cheese, the new plant-based cheese slices and shreds replicate the texture, taste, and melting ability of dairy cheese and are an ideal substitute for pizzas, nachos, and grilled cheese. The products made from cashew milk will be available in flavors American (slices), Cheddar (slices and shreds), Mozzarella (shreds), and Pepper Jack (slices). The company plans to sell the new products from November through its online store and launch at retail locations by Spring 2022. As of October 2021, the company's products were available across more than 3,000 retail locations across the US, including Wegmans, Ralphs, Whole Foods, and Kroger.
