Bulgaria-based Hydrox Systems develops oxy-hydrogen (HHO) fuel-saving and emission-reducing systems for all types of internal combustion engines—cars, vans, buses, trucks, boats, agricultural machinery, construction machinery, power generators, heating boilers, etc.
Hydrox Systems breaks the bonds between water molecules (from the water-based electrolyte used in the process) to produce HHO gas using extra power from the vehicle’s alternator. The HHO gas is then added to the air-fuel mixture of the internal combustion engine (petrol, diesel, LPG or LNG) to make the combustion process more complete and efficient, resulting in lower emissions and lower fuel consumption.
Hydrox Systems claims that its HHO car kits, priced between EUR 129 and EUR 400 (USD 150–USD 500), can reduce emissions by 78% and deliver monthly fuel cost savings of up to 35%. As of February 2024, the company had installed more than 12,000 HHO generators, which are available for worldwide shipment with a two-year warranty.
