AquaSpy uses sensor and IoT technology and a cloud-based platform to help farmers monitor crop behavior and fertilizer needs to increase productivity and yield. AquaSpy offers soil moisture monitoring probes named “Legacy” and “Crophency” that are embedded in fields with IoT technology to remotely monitor the plants and provide farmers with insights on crop health and fertilizer requirements. These probes also give farmers access to AquaSpy’s “AgSpy” cloud platform for data storage and analysis. AquaSpy has also introduced a Yield Efficiency Score (YES) to track plant health and predict yield.
AquaSpy claims that its probes increase crop yield by 10% - 40%. The company’s solutions are offered on a subscription basis with Crophency available for USD 19.95 per month, and data services priced at USD700 per year.
The company manages a variety of crops such as corn, soybeans, sugar beets, potatoes, wheat, and almonds. AquaSpy has deployed more than 50,000 sensors across 16 countries including the US, Australia, and Europe and Europe and has deployed more than 50,000 AquaSpy sensors.
