Arthur AI provides tools that specialize in monitoring the productivity of machine learning models. Arthur offers four products: Arthur Bench, Arthur Scope, Arthur Chat, and Arthur Shield, which focus on performance evaluation of language models, chat-based application development, and safeguarding AI data.

Arthur Shield serves as a protective barrier for AI data, allowing organizations to implement a safeguard in front of LLMs to monitor data for potential risks and policy violations. Arthur Bench enables companies to assess the performance of various language models tailored to their specific needs, offering metrics for comparing models based on accuracy, readability, hedging, and other criteria. 

Arthur Chat is a ready-made, retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) platform that empowers companies to develop highly accurate, dependable chat-based applications using their proprietary data, allowing rapid application creation and deployment. Arthur Chat integrates with nearly any LLM, provides robust security through its integration with Arthur Shield, and includes safeguards against inappropriate content generation and hallucinations. 

Finally, Arthur Scope assists enterprise teams in enhancing the operational efficiency and overall performance of machine learning, leading to improved outcomes in various domains, including structured data, computer vision, and natural language processing models. 

Key customers and partnerships

Arthur’s noteworthy clients include Humana, the Department of Defense (DoD), Expel, Axios HQ, and three of the top five US banks.

Arthur has also established co-selling agreements with Google, Amazon, and Microsoft.

Funding and financials

In September 2022, the company raised USD 42 million in a Series B funding round led by Acrew Capital and Greycroft. The company noted that the funds would be invested in scaling operations and team expansion, particularly in sales, marketing, and engineering roles.
