RxSense

RxSense is a healthcare technology company founded in 2015 that provides solutions for pharmacy benefits and prescription savings. The company offers a cloud-based enterprise platform called RxAgile, which enables clients to implement licensed enterprise software for pharmacy benefits administration. RxAgile provides efficiency, transparency, and operational cost savings for pharmacy benefit managers, regional health plans, health systems, and other healthcare entities. In addition to RxAgile, RxSense has developed an analytics dashboard called RxIQ, which offers near real-time insights into plan performance, drug costs, clinical outcomes, and other key data.

A key product of RxSense is SingleCare, a prescription savings service that allows consumers to access discounts of up to 80% on medications at major pharmacy chains like CVS, Walgreens, and Walmart. As of December 2022, over 40 million Americans had used the SingleCare card, with the company attracting about 7 million new customers annually. RxSense also powers prescription savings solutions for other companies, such as Walgreens' Rx Savings Finder tool launched in November 2023, which enables customers to compare prices from various prescription discount cards.

Key customers and partnerships

RxSense has established partnerships with several companies in the healthcare and pharmacy sectors. In April 2022, RxSense partnered with Banjo Health to offer its AI-powered prior authorization platform as part of RxSense's suite of solutions for pharmacy benefit managers. In May 2022, EmsanaRx, a pharmacy benefit manager structured for large employers, selected RxSense to provide its pharmacy benefits technology.

RxSense also collaborates with TroyRx, whose prescription platform DischargeRx is used by more than 700 hospitals and 150,000 providers. This partnership, announced in May 2021, allows TroyRx to leverage RxSense's discount pricing network to help patients overcome cost obstacles. In November 2023, RxSense announced a significant collaboration with Walgreens to launch the Rx Savings Finder, a digital marketplace enabling Walgreens customers to compare prices from various prescription discount cards.
