Nicecactus

Nicecactus is an online platform providing gamers professional automated training, tournaments, and performance tracking options. The company handles two business units, namely, Nicecactus Gaming Platform (nicecactus.gg) and Nicectus Gaming Services. The platform offers its services across numerous gaming titles such as CS:GO, League of Legends, FIFA while it has also partnered with various gaming companies and brands including G2 Esports, AS Monaco, Magic Gaming, and DreamHack.

Nicecactus announced the launch of the “Nicecactus Grassroots Esports Fund” in October 2019. The EUR 1 million (approximately USD 1.1 million) sponsorship fund was created to support amateur and semi-professional players succeed in their career.

As of May 2021, the company serves more than 1.3 million members and runs over 1,500 online tournaments per month. In 2020, the platform organized around 18,000 online tournaments across more than 30 games. It also revealed plans to expand beyond Western Europe in May 2021, which is already a key market.

In February 2020, the company announced the acquisition of European esports tournament platform, Glory4Gamers (G4G). The companies have been working together to pursue international expansion with a combined user base of around 1 million.

Nicecactus established a joint venture in Dubai to expand its activities to the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) region in July 2021. Sheikh Suhail Bin Butti Al Maktoum (Chairman, Royal Emirates Group) and Faris Ahmad Ramadhan Juma (Vice Chairman, ARJ Holding) are reported to be shareholders and equity partners in the joint venture.The joint venture is expected to develop and market the Nicecactus gamer platform and gaming services. It was established in the Dubai Multi Commodities Centre (DMCC) Free Zone and has already secured a partnership with the DMCC to host tournaments and competitive gaming events.
