Intelligent Ultrasound is a company focused on making clinical diagnostic ultrasound more accessible and easier to use for medical professionals. The company provides a range of hi-fidelity ultrasound simulators for various applications, including Point-of-Care Ultrasound (PoCUS), Transesophageal and Transthoracic Echocardiography (TTE & TEE), OBGYN, general ultrasound, and ultrasound used in critical care, intensive care, and emergency medicine. These simulators are designed for real-time ultrasound education and training.

In addition to simulation technology, Intelligent Ultrasound has developed deep-learning-based algorithms that improve real-time ultrasound image analysis. These AI-driven solutions are integrated into ultrasound machines to enhance image analysis and make the devices more accessible to medical professionals. One such product is the ScanNav Assist AI technology, which includes SonoLystlive and SonoLyst X/IR, incorporated into GE healthcare's Voluson ultrasound systems.

Intelligent Ultrasound has continued to innovate its product offerings. In 2024, the company introduced NeedleTrainer Portable, a more versatile training solution that can be transported across multiple sites, and Endometriosis Plus, which provides comprehensive, targeted training in Endometriosis and Transvaginal Sonography (TVS).

In July 2024, GE healthcare acquired Intelligent Ultrasound's clinical artificial intelligence (AI) software business for approximately USD 51 million. Following this acquisition, Intelligent Ultrasound has maintained its focus on advanced, high-fidelity ultrasound simulation technology for improving ultrasound training and education.
