Ditto, which was part of Y Combinator’s Winter 2020 batch, offers writers, designers, and product developers a platform to manage product copy edits. It is currently available for the prototyping tool Figma, allowing users to sync edits from designs in the application, and work on them using Ditto’s web app or directly in mockups through Figma. Users can track the status and edit history of particular pieces of text without leaving the Ditto interface.
The company serves more than 2,400 teams and plans to integrate its software with Sketch and Adobe XD in the future. The company’s subscription pricing model includes a freemium plan and paid plans starting at USD 15 per month (for editors) and USD 10 per month (for commenters).
In June 2021, the company raised USD 1.5 million in seed funding from Greycroft, Y Combinator, Soma Capital, Decent Capital, and TwentyTwo VC, besides other individual investors.
