Most recently, in October 2024, Flatiron expanded its partnership with Lifebit Biotech, a UK-based biotech firm, to grow their collaboration into Japan to improve cancer care through real-world data (RWD).
In May 2024, the company partnered with the Association of Cancer Care Centers (ACCC), a nationwide network of practitioners, to improve access to oncology-related clinical trials and refine the collection of clinical study data. Through the partnership, Flatiron Health made its clinical trial data platform, Flatiron Clinical Pipe, available to the ACCN to accelerate research, pull trial data automatically from electronic health records, simplify data transfers, improve trial efficiency, and enhance patient access to oncology-focused trials.
In April 2024 the company renewed its partnership with the National Comprehensive Cancer Network (NCCN), an alliance of leading cancer centers, which focused on utilizing real-world data to improve cancer care and research. Through the partnership, the companies agreed to work together to enable research through the use of real-world data, provide nationwide cancer centers with access to high-quality data, and collaborate to enhance the quality of care at cancer centers.
In March 2024, Flatiron partnered with the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) have partnered to bring Flatiron's oncology-specific clinical decision support platform, Flatiron Assist, to MUSC’s Hollings Cancer Center.
In June 2023, Flatiron announced a partnership with the Leeds Teaching Hospitals NHS Trust (LTHT) in the UK to gain access to clinical data of consenting cancer patients being treated at LTHT for anonymization and converting patient experiences into research-ready datasets.
In January 2022, Flatiron formed an alliance with Japan-based National Cancer Center Hospital East to develop a real-world database of patients with gastrointestinal cancers.
