J​​ustworks, founded in 2012, reinvented the traditional professional employer organization (PEO) model, using a self-serve go-to-market strategy and a subscription-based SaaS pricing model. Justworks’ offerings include HR, payroll, benefits, and compliance tools, targeted at SMEs. It currently co-employs over 140,000 workers across ~8,000 customers. It leverages the size of its aggregated PEO employee base to provide them with better health insurance and benefits rates, typically inaccessible by standalone SME customers.
