Colombian BNPL startup Addi has raised USD 75 million in an extended Series B funding round, bringing the total Series B funding to USD 140 million. The extension was led by Greycroft and also included the participation of existing investors Andreessen Horowitz and Endeavor Catalyst, as well as new investors, including GGV Capital, Citius Capital, and Intersection Growth Partners.
The round more than doubled the company’s valuation from May 2021 when it raised USD 65 million (its first Series B tranche) consisting of both debt and equity. The new funds will be funneled into product development and geographic expansion into Mexico, where it plans to launch in early 2022. Addi will also allocate part of the funds to scale its current operations in Brazil and Colombia.
