Infarm, a Berlin-based startup offering vertically produced herbs and green leaves, has partnered with the virtual supermarket Rohlik.cz to offer its greens in the Czech Republic, marking its foray into the Eastern European market.
The company will initially focus on serving Rohlik.cz customers in Prague and plans to expand nationwide gradually.
Infarm products that will be available on Rohlik.cz include Genovese basil, flat coriander, thyme, and parsley.
This expansion follows Infarm’s move to Japan earlier this year and is in line with its commitment to expand operations to 100 countries globally by 2030.
Infarm previously reported that it is building one of Europe’s largest urban farming facilities in North London and another facility in Denmark and plans to expand its portfolio to include mushrooms, tomatoes, and strawberries.
