Software solution provider Zyter launches an IoT-based smart agriculture platform

Product updates

  • Zyter, a US-based company providing internet of things (IoT)-based software solutions across various industries, has announced launching an IoT-based smart agriculture platform to support farmers and agronomists with precise crop management decisions to achieve higher crop yields.

  • The system uses sensors to collect data on soil and atmospheric conditions (soil moisture, and nutrient content), and IoT-enabled weather stations to monitor and measure weather conditions (temperature, precipitation, wind speed, and air quality of the crop fields). In addition, using artificial intelligence (AI) and drone-based inspection, the system provides a comprehensive view of the farmland and actionable insights.

  • Farmers can receive the insights on a dashboard or via a mobile app and be alerted on critical farm conditions.
