Zyter, a US-based company providing internet of things (IoT)-based software solutions across various industries, has announced launching an IoT-based smart agriculture platform to support farmers and agronomists with precise crop management decisions to achieve higher crop yields.
The system uses sensors to collect data on soil and atmospheric conditions (soil moisture, and nutrient content), and IoT-enabled weather stations to monitor and measure weather conditions (temperature, precipitation, wind speed, and air quality of the crop fields). In addition, using artificial intelligence (AI) and drone-based inspection, the system provides a comprehensive view of the farmland and actionable insights.
Farmers can receive the insights on a dashboard or via a mobile app and be alerted on critical farm conditions.
