Stenon, a Berlin-based startup that provides real-time soil analysis solutions, has announced that it has raised USD 20 million in a Series A funding round led by Founders Capital and the David Friedman-owned The Production Board. Existing investors Cherry Ventures and Atlantic Labs also joined the round.
The use for the funding was not disclosed, but the company noted that it aims for real-time soil analysis to become the standard, replacing the role of physical laboratories. According to Stenon, its real-time soil analysis solution eliminates the need for physical laboratories, allowing for faster and more efficient decision-making for farmers on-site.
