Snyk, a cloud-native security startup, has raised USD 300 million in a Series F funding round co-led by Sands Capital Ventures and Tiger Global, with participation from BlackRock, Accel, Salesforce Ventures, Atlassian Ventures, and Coatue.
In addition to the primary fundraise, the transaction also included a secondary investment where investors paid USD 230 million to acquire the existing shares of Snyk. Snyk’s total funding following this round stands at USD 775 million.
The latest round values the company at USD 8.5 billion—nearly double the USD 4.7 billion sticker price achieved during its Series E raise in March 2021.
The company expects to use the funds for product development.
