Snyk’s valuation hits USD 8.5 billion with USD 530 million funding

Funding

  • Snyk, a cloud-native security startup, has raised USD 300 million in a Series F funding round co-led by Sands Capital Ventures and Tiger Global, with participation from BlackRock, Accel, Salesforce Ventures, Atlassian Ventures, and Coatue.

  • In addition to the primary fundraise, the transaction also included a secondary investment where investors paid USD 230 million to acquire the existing shares of Snyk. Snyk’s total funding following this round stands at USD 775 million.

  • The latest round values the company at USD 8.5 billion—nearly double the USD 4.7 billion sticker price achieved during its Series E raise in March 2021.

  • The company expects to use the funds for product development.
