Dazz, a cloud security startup, has raised USD 50 million in Series A funding from investors such as Insight Partners, Greylock Partners, Index Ventures, and Cyberstarts. This Series A follows a previously undisclosed seed round of USD 10 million raised earlier this year, backed by the same investors, bringing Dazz’s total funding to USD 60 million.
The company expects to use the funding to expand its AI team and develop solutions to cover new use cases requested by its customers. Dazz expects to launch its product for general availability by the first quarter of next year.
The company currently serves 12 customers, with half of them being Fortune 500 companies. Dazz’s clients span across industries such as healthcare, pharmaceuticals, financial services, and retail.
