Securonix secures undisclosed amount from strategic investors

Funding

Securonix, a next-gen security information and event management (SIEM) and extended detection and response (XDR) platform, announced that it has secured an undisclosed amount from Capital One Ventures, Snowflake Ventures, Verizon Ventures, and Wipro Ventures. The investors have joined its earlier funding round, in which it raised more than USD 1 billion led by Vista Equity Partners.

 • The latest funds will be used to extend security to the application layer, penetrate key verticals and geographic regions, and build customer and partner relationships.

 • Wipro and Verizon have an existing partnership with Securonix, and both leverage Securonix’s technology to power their managed detection and response (MDR) services. Capital One invested in Securonix in 2021 and partners with the company to develop new use cases to monitor cyber threats, among others.

 • Securonix expanded its SaaS business by more than 100% over 2021, driven by the launch of its “Bring Your Own Snowflake” program in July 2021.
