Ondo Finance, a decentralized lending protocol, raised USD 20 million in Series A funding led by Founders Fund and Pantera Capital with participation from Coinbase Ventures, GoldenTree, Wintermute, Steel Perlot, Tiger Global, and Flow Traders. This round brings the company’s total funding to USD 24 million.
The funds will be used to expand the company’s employee base and support new product launches including its multi-chain expansion. The company also announced plans to decentralize its governance structure by launching a native ONDO token and related DAO. Additionally, it also aims to launch vaults that bundle yields from algorithmic stablecoins and aggregate yields across different blockchains.
