Klaviyo, an email and SME marketing platform specializing in ecommerce brands, appointed Amanda Whalen as the new chief financial officer (CFO). She will assume the role from interim CFO Jennifer Ceran, who will remain as a board member to assist with the transition.
Before joining Klaviyo, Amanda served as executive vice president and CFO of Walmart International and was responsible for finance functions across eight international markets with a revenue of over $90 billion.
Analyst QuickTake: Given its specialization in ecommerce brands, which includes large retailers such as Uniliver, the new appointment is in line with Klaviyo’s focus on growing its presence globally, particularly in the retail business as well as other industries including restaurants and hospitality.
