Sencrop, a French startup offering connected precision agriculture solutions, has raised USD 18 million in a Series B funding round led by Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP). New investors including EIT Food and Stellar Impact and existing investors including BPIfrance and Demeter IM also joined the round.
The funds will be used to expand its footprint, launch its operations overseas including the North American market, and open an office at the International Foodtech Center in Israel.
The opening of the Foodtech Center in Israel is a part of an international cooperation between Israel and France to solve climate and agricultural challenges using AI, data science, and climate-tech solutions.
