Sencrop raises USD 18 million in Series B funding

Funding

  • Sencrop, a French startup offering connected precision agriculture solutions, has raised USD 18 million in a Series B funding round led by Jerusalem Venture Partners (JVP). New investors including EIT Food and Stellar Impact and existing investors including BPIfrance and Demeter IM also joined the round.

  • The funds will be used to expand its footprint, launch its operations overseas including the North American market, and open an office at the International Foodtech Center in Israel.

  • The opening of the Foodtech Center in Israel is a part of an international cooperation between Israel and France to solve climate and agricultural challenges using AI, data science, and climate-tech solutions.
