• BetterVet, a Boston-based mobile and telehealth veterinary startup, acquired mobile veterinary service provider Vets Here for an undisclosed amount to expand its at-home suite of services. This marks the company’s largest acquisition to date.  

• The acquisition is expected to 1) strengthen its product offering, which includes app-based scheduling, effective logistics management, and expanded services; and 2) extend its services in Southern California. BetterVet also intends to extend its services to more cities across the country over the upcoming year. 

• Vets Here offers a full-service suite of mobile veterinary services, which includes wellness exams, surgery, in-home euthanasia, dental procedures, imaging and laboratory, and mobile veterinary vehicle. The platform currently serves the California area, mainly Ventura County, Santa Barbara, and Santa Ynez Valley.

Earlier in October 2021, BetterVet expanded its operations on the West Coast to San Francisco and Seattle. It also expects to expand its operations to San Diego and Portland. BetterVet currently operates in 19 major US cities.</ul>
