Xage Security extends Series B with additional USD 6 million

Funding

Xage Security, an IoT security startup, has secured a USD 6 million extension to its Series B funding round from the venture arm of SCF Partners and Overture Climate Fund. This brings the total funds raised to USD 60 million.

 • The funds will be utilized to develop new product features, support growing demand, and expand its go-to-market operations.

 • This extension comes on the heels of the company’s growth over the past year. Xage Security reported that its customer base more than doubled in the energy, defense, utilities, manufacturing, and logistics industries in 2021. It also reported that two-thirds of its customers are accelerating product rollouts to address rising cybersecurity risks and to meet federal regulations by the end of this year. The company also reported that one of its customers intends to roll out the product to nearly 1,000 sites over a period of 12–18 months. Notable customers include top-five global energy companies and top-five US pipeline operators.
