Picnic partners with Speedy Eats, becoming its exclusive robotic pizza-making system supplier

Partnerships

 • Pizza-making robot developer Picnic has been tapped by the Speedy Eats, a developer of mobile automated kitchens for parking lots, to be its exclusive pizza assembly system supplier.

 • The companies plan to deploy the units starting 2023.

Analyst QuickTake: Today’s news marks the second major deployment partnership of Picnic’s units this year, following the first at the Texas A&M University in February. Necessary funds for these deployments were made available to Picnic last May and July when it raised a total of USD 20.5 million in Series A funding partially for the purpose. Picnic’s system has also been open for pre-orders since August 2021, with plans to ship the new orders later this year.
