Miso Robotics partners with AWS to test robotic software at scale

Partnerships

 • Miso Robotics, a kitchen automation company, has partnered with Amazon Web Services (AWS) to test its software powering “Flippy 2” and “Flippy Lite” at scale, using AWS RoboMaker, a cloud-based simulation service.

 • The partnership will allow Miso Robotics to run up to 50 simulations simultaneously. The company believes that this would help them to turn future prototypes into functional products quickly.

Analyst QuickTake: Miso Robotics’ Flippy 2, introduced last November , can load, fry, and place the items in a hot holding area without assistance and can handle up to 60 baskets per hour. Flippy Lite was added to the Flippy product lineup earlier in March and is designed to focus on a single food item that needs seasoning and finishing.
