Digital therapeutics (DTx) provider Happify Health has partnered with health insurance company Anthem Inc. (to be renamed Elevance Health by end June) to launch a digital-first solution for maternal health in select markets. This solution aims to connect the unique physical and mental health concerns women face.

The solution is built on Happify Health’s solution of creating Sequences, a digital program that supports a specific medical condition. Sequences can include digital therapeutics, online communities, coaching, and other resources as well as tailored care recommendations. The two companies have partnered to develop a Sequence specifically for maternal health.

The solution will allow eligible Anthem members to gain access to Happify Health’s online pregnancy community. This includes access to mental health experts, obstetrics, and gynecology experts, dietitians, and other healthcare professionals. Additionally, eligible users will also be able to utilize Happify Health’s digital therapeutics, including their non-prescription DTX for mental health needs during pregnancy.

Anthem aims to grant access to eligible affiliate health plan members to this maternal health solution by the end of 2022.
