Eclipse Foods partners with Smashburger to offer plant-based milkshakes

Partnerships

  • Eclipse Foods, a California-based alternative dairy startup producing plant-based ice cream has partnered with Smashburger, a fast-casual burger chain to offer plant-based milkshakes. This marks the first time plant-based milkshakes have been made available nationwide in the US at a fast-food chain according to company claims.

  • The plant-based milkshakes are claimed to replicate the taste and texture of traditional milkshakes. It will be available at all Smashburger locations in vanilla, chocolate, strawberry, peanut butter, tangerine dream, and oreo flavors at USD 6.19 (price may vary depending on location). Customers also have the option of delivery and take-out via Smashburger’s website and mobile app. The delivery-only option is available on popular OFD platforms such as DoorDash, Postmates, Uber Eats, and GrubHub.
