• UK-based B2B BNPL player Hokodo has raised USD 40 million in a Series B funding round led by Notion Capital, with participation from Korelya Capital, Mundi Ventures, Opera Tech Ventures, Anthemis, and Mosaic Ventures. 

• The fresh funds are earmarked for the company’s expansion into additional European markets and the launch of BNPL solutions for telesales and in-store purchases.

<ul><li> Analyst QuickTake : Hokodo recently launched in Belgium and the Netherlands, and it is ramping up these efforts with the new funds. This round follows its USD 12.5 million Series A round in June 2021 , which was also used for setting up in additional markets. UK-based peers including Tranch , Treyd , Debite , and Playter have also raised funds recently.</ul>
