Loop Energy and Tevva sign multi-year fuel cell agreement

Partnerships

 • Loop Energy, a Canadian developer of hydrogen fuel cell modules, stacks for vehicle OEMs, and power generation system manufacturers, has signed a multi-year fuel cell agreement with Tevva, a British manufacturer of battery electric vehicle (BEV) and hydrogen fuel cell electric vehicle (FCEV) trucks.

 • Under the agreement, Loop Energy will deliver fuel cells for the production of Tevva’s hydrogen-electric trucks in 2023. The supply agreement is in excess of USD 12 million and extends to 2024, making Tevva the first customer to move into the full production phase of Loop Energy’s customer adoption process.

Analyst QuickTake: Loop Energy signed up Tevva Motors as its second customer to scale up its customer adoption cycle operations in March 2022. Tevva’s multi-year agreement will enable Loop Energy to achieve its purchase order and revenue guidance for 2022 and increase volume targets for 2023.
