Quit Genius to offer performance-based payment model

Product updates

  • Digital therapeutic provider Quit Genius has announced it will offer a full-risk payment model for health plans and employers.

  • Through the new model, the company will only receive a payment if its virtual treatment for addiction meets guidelines with regard to clinical, engagement, satisfaction, and operational performance goals. Should the company fail to achieve its set guidelines, payers are eligible to receive 100% of the fees paid.

  • Before this announcement, the company offered a 50% at-risk payment model combined with a case rate fee for its medication-assisted treatment options for substance use disorder for opioids, tobacco, and alcohol.
