Simbe Robotics partners with Fast Radius to streamline the manufacturing process

Partnerships

  • Simbe Robotics, a developer of autonomous inventory robots named “Tally,” has announced its partnership with Fast Radius, a provider of digital supply chain and cloud manufacturing solutions, to streamline the manufacturing process of its robots.

  • Simbe Robotics uses Fast Radius’ Cloud Manufacturing Platform and urethane casting technology (a relatively faster and cheaper method of manufacturing compared to traditional manufacturing processes), which uses molds to produce parts. This has enabled the company to expand its fleet of robots faster to meet growing demand.

  • Simbe has been able to deploy around 200 robots globally so far, saving around USD 30,000 in engineering costs while maintaining the flexibility of manufacturing robots by being able to change the design as needed.
